Old-Age Love is damn cute

The small fights between my grandparents is very sweet and cute to witness.
They fight on issues like whether their second cousin's grand daughter's name is smitha or sudha :). A common argument that they have almost daily is over the strory line of TV serials. They see around 10 serials every day. My grandmom remebers the characters and story really well. However my grandpa who has some trouble with hearing is totally confused with all stories. not to blame him though....More or less all of them have the same plot and same actors.

When I come to my grandparents house there are certain things that I enjoy to watch.
My grandma has some problem with her right hand. so everyday grandpa combs and plaits her hair so neatly. infact everytime he combs her hair, he says "see even at this age, her is hair is long and black". ANother treat to watch is my grandpa doing oil masage for my grandma. He patiently sits down and massages her swollen legs.
They are the most cute couple I have ever seen..Hats off to them!!

Shopping spree

The amount of shopping to be done for wedding is unbelievable. For the past two months, every alternate day I have been shopping.
Never done so much shopping all at once. jewelry, sarees, salwars, jeans, skirts, accesories, lingerie, return gifts, silver ware, brass ware, bedsheets and so on. When it comes to wedding expenses, its in the order of lakhs only...................

Childhood Returns

It is very interesting to note how elderly people behave like kids after a certain age.
It is said that people mature with age. However beyond a certain age they are more child-like.
Infact they even start looking like kids..The way they smile without teeth etc is so cute like a new born and is worth a million dollar. One more reason why they are like kids is because they start depending on others for even their basic activities. The best thing that we can do to them is spend some time talking to them and make them smile, so that they feel secured and happy.

Pre-wedding Holiday

I have taken a 19-day break from work before my wedding. I am having fun at home. I am enjoying the royal treatment that a to-be bride would get. I have absolutely nothing to do except eating, sleeping, going to temple , having a long elaborate bath, seeing tv , chatting with mom, dad, aunties and uncles. Our house in coimbatore is full of discussion about number of people who will attend the wedding, stage decoration, return gifts to be given, jewels to be purchased, dresses to be given to tailor for stitching, accomodation for the wedding guests and so on..
Now my blogging time is over.. I have to go ahead for another discussion about the wedding menu ;)

My First Attempt to write

I truly admire people who can express their thoughts very well in writing. Yet I always thought that only some blessed people have the inherent ability to write. For someone like me who takes more than 30 minutes to type in a simple official mail, writing a blog would be an ordeal.
However when I find almost everyone writing blogs these days, I thought that I should also give it a try. So here comes my first blog!!
